The audience thought a goal was coming when Bolko Julius got free with Alexander Higgins in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 15 in the game by Bolko Julius from a close distance when the talented Alexander Higgins managed to make a qualified save. Scotland's players were relieved. In the 16th minute, Hilal Gençlik's Rando Aas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolko Julius in the 20th minute of the match. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexander Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolko Julius's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Bolko Julius had several of the Scotland's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Alexander Higgins as he didn't even see the shot coming. 33 minutes into the game, Hilal Gençlik's Rando Aas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bolko Julius was the one to do the kick off. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolko Julius in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Bolko Julius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bolko Julius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Robert McNeill hit a great ball. If Rando Aas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hilal Gençlik's Bolko Julius in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Bolko Julius sped through Scotland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. In the 71st minute, Bolko Julius made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Hilal Gençlik's Efekan Ensar was substituted for Dinçer Naci. The audience was convinced that Bolko Julius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Higgins was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Mustafa Cumhur Mürşit struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hilal Gençlik. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Bolko Julius came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rando Aas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Rasialdo came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
