The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Viana got free with Didi Novaes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aytaç Okatay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Viana couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
