Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagildo Pamanes in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Kemen. In the 22ndth minute of the game Prospero Inguma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeca Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Cheche in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolo Bolaño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Ipar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Lin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Lin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Feliberto Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagildo Pamanes in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Consejo del Mate defense, Prospero Inguma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. Lobos de Carelia's Gabriel Efraim was substituted for Amancio Cheche. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Efraim in the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Efraim in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Prospero Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Prospero Inguma sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Lucas Jimenez got a free kick in the 87th minute. Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Peyo Fonelleda replaced Bolo Bolaño. In the 88th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Jimenez to maneuver through the defense. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them.
