In the 45th minute Lobos de Carelia were awarded a corner. Adolfo Gombal went to the cornerflag to take it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 51st match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Boukouvalas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Prospero Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos de Carelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Perico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atahan Balon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute Saverio Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ricardo-Enrique Bochini notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar. Feliberto Ipar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Atahan Balon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Cheche in the 88th minute of the match. If Amancio Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Bencivenni in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
