After 6 played minutes Soccer Club Celans Foot got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Fonseca. Adelino Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Soccer Club Celans Foot getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Remo das Neves hit a great ball. With a little luck, Soccer Club Celans Foot's Sebastião Catarinense got control of the ball when Osvaldo Pietro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remo das Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Celino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remo das Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastião Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Pietro in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Soccer Club Celans Foot's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Louis came free, but Sebastião Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Bobo y El Bocho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Remo das Neves 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Sebastião Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94thth minute of the game Osvaldo Pietro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soccer Club Celans Foot's Sebastião Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The El Bobo y El Bocho manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Soccer Club Celans Foot to win.
