The tension between the Merceron United and the FC XY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Perazzolo. Daniel Gešík took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Masciarelli. Damiano Masciarelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Miroslav Medzihradský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Masciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Masciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Karas in the 16th minute of play. If Miroslav Medzihradský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Damiano Perazzolo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jozef Karas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC XY's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Karas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Masciarelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Ľubomír Vyskočil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC XY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. Ľubomír Vyskočil kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Carlo Mandelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, Filippo Corna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Merceron United's zone, Daniel Gešík stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Masciarelli came out of the goal and Daniel Gešík tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Mandelli hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Jozef Karas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Emilio Maestri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merceron United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Maestri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Daniel Gešík was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC XY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. Daniel Gešík kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, FC XY's goalkeeper Ladislav Blažek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Maestri. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jozef Karas made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Jozef Karas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merceron United's Damiano Masciarelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damiano Masciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Karas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Cardillo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Cardillo to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Damiano Masciarelli managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when FC XY's Jozef Karas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dario Cardillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jozef Karas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Masciarelli was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Arturo Abete kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gabriel Bučko might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Masciarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Bučko ran back to his position shaking his head. Merceron United's Damiano Masciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Gešík in the 76th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Emilio Maestri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Emilio Maestri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Gešík could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Damiano Masciarelli made a huge save. FC XY were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Merceron United to leave the ground with a draw.
