Ziemowit Niezywy's late challenge caught a -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Niezywy helped the player get up and apologised. Ziemowit Niezywy hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Cristinel Niculescu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's protests and gave Cristinel Niculescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Niculescu to maneuver through the defense. During the 19th minute of the match Ziemowit Niezywy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ziemowit Niezywy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni booed when SlaYerS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Niezywy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Pawelczyk came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Eugen Perișoară. But to his dismay, Eugen Perișoară quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Roch Piczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SlaYerS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Fc Gheraseni the free kick. Roch Piczak hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Eugen Perișoară came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Perișoară couldn't finish the play. Virgil Nedelcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edgar Pawelczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Acalinei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grigore Purje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Pawelczyk having to interfere. After some careless play in the SlaYerS defense, Aurelian Acalinei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Pawelczyk. The SlaYerS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Pawelczyk should have stopped the shot. After 44 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Verzea.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelian Acalinei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Acalinei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Pawelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Acalinei, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Aurelian Acalinei managed to work through SlaYerS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aurelian Acalinei dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 62 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Verzea. In the 70thth minute of the game Fabian Verzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SlaYerS's Edgar Pawelczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roch Piczak kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Roch Piczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. SlaYerS's supporters rose to their feet, but Roch Piczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octav Hortopan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Pawelczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Verzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Pawelczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelian Acalinei's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of SlaYerS booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Verzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zygmunt Kensicki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octav Hortopan having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni had won after a very even match.
