The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Maestri got free with Bartlomiej Munko in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Merceron United's Carlo Mandelli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Maestri got free with Bartlomiej Munko in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Wasyl Sidorowicz hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Merceron United's Emilio Maestri dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dariusz Perkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Masciarelli having to make a save. Dario Cardillo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Cardillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Dario Cardillo. Bartlomiej Munko made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Emilio Maestri sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Maestri got free with Bartlomiej Munko in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Emilio Bulla got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Damiano Masciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Perkowski in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dario Cardillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Cardillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartlomiej Munko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Munko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Maestri. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Dariusz Perkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karpaty Krosno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Perkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Corna. After 62 minutes, Beniamin Karp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karpaty Krosno and the Merceron United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Beniamin Karp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Karpaty Krosno's zone, Emilio Maestri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartlomiej Munko came out of the goal and Emilio Maestri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dariusz Perkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karpaty Krosno's Bartlomiej Munko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cardillo in the 72nd minute of play. Carlo Mandelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Cezary Ramzinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Maestri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Corna. Karpaty Krosno's Bartlomiej Munko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Mandelli in the 84th minute of play. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Maestri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Perkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cezary Ramzinski's late challenge caught a Merceron United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezary Ramzinski helped the player get up and apologised. Cezary Ramzinski hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bartlomiej Munko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Mandelli in the 95th minute of play. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cardillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Merceron United were the better team. Merceron United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
