After a rather tough play, Soccer Club Celans Foot's Enio Ortiz got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Paralia Athens booed when Soccer Club Celans Foot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Leonard Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliodor Stelaru's late challenge caught a Soccer Club Celans Foot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Stelaru helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Eliodor Stelaru got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Remo das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Apostu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Maghiran kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sebastião Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 30th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remo das Neves to make the kick off. The Paralia Athens fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Paralia Athens's Stelian Todericiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Chirculescu in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Chirculescu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Catarinense saved Soccer Club Celans Foot from getting behind. Petre Maghiran kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Soccer Club Celans Foot's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Todericiu came free, but Sebastião Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Stelian Todericiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paralia Athens's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelian Todericiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paralia Athens made a substitution. Iulian Doinaș replaced Stelian Todericiu. After 77 played minutes Soccer Club Celans Foot got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Carvalho. In the 80th minute Petre Maghiran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Soccer Club Celans Foot got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Passos. Leonard Chirculescu took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Catarinense. Sebastião Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sebastião Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Chirculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Doinaș might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Catarinense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Doinaș ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonard Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Catarinense having to interfere. Paralia Athens's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
