After 3 minutes, Dariusz Perkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karpaty Krosno and the Paralia Athens players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Dariusz Perkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Cezary Ramzinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karpaty Krosno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralia Athens the free kick. A collision led to Karpaty Krosno getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cezary Ramzinski hit a great ball. After 6 minutes of play, Paralia Athens's Stelian Todericiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartlomiej Munko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stelian Todericiu scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartlomiej Munko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes, Petre Maghiran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paralia Athens and the Karpaty Krosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Maghiran to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Leonard Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Munko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Chirculescu in the 19th minute of play forced Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Munko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Leonard Chirculescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartlomiej Munko. Karpaty Krosno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Chirculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Munko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Chirculescu. In the 32nd minute, Leonard Chirculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paralia Athens fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 36 minutes into the match, Stelian Todericiu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Karpaty Krosno's Bartlomiej Munko. Bartlomiej Munko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mircea Robu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Maghiran to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Chirculescu got free with Bartlomiej Munko in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Chirculescu in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartlomiej Munko saved Karpaty Krosno from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Stelian Todericiu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Todericiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stelian Todericiu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes Karpaty Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Perkowski. In the 57th minute, Mircea Robu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karpaty Krosno's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Munko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bartlomiej Munko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Chirilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Chirculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Chirculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartlomiej Munko having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karpaty Krosno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Paralia Athens. Lucrețiu Miheș stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bartlomiej Munko. 6-0. Lucrețiu Miheș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bartlomiej Munko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartlomiej Munko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 82nd minute of play. After 83rd play minutes Leonard Chirculescu shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Bartlomiej Munko and just under the crossbar into goal. Bartlomiej Munko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Chirculescu in the 88th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Paralia Athens were the better team. Paralia Athens's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
