Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ronny Pihlblad made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the game, Dino Facchetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceron United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Grasacticos the free kick. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dino Facchetti hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Real Grasacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Ruzzi came free, but Alex Finman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Coccia. In the 20th match minute, Real Grasacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Anthony Ruzzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alex Finman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Ruzzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Martin Näfver fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Grasacticos's protests and gave Martin Näfver a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Gelsomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Perazzolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Finman having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Frank Pizzi. In the 43rd minute of the match Alexander Longo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Finman skillfully saved the ball. Alex Finman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Ruzzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Gelsomini, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Ruzzi to make the kick off. Alex Finman came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Damiano Perazzolo. But to his dismay, Damiano Perazzolo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Anthony Ruzzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alex Finman made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Dino Facchetti. In the 66th minute Arne Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Latini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Fredriksson in the 67th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Carmine Latini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Gelsomini in the 69th minute of the match. Anthony Ruzzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alex Finman made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, Alfredo Monaco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceron United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Grasacticos the free kick. Alex Finman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Ruzzi in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Real Grasacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes, Merceron United's Alexander Longo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Finman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merceron United reached it. After 83rd play minutes Anthony Ruzzi shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Alex Finman and just under the crossbar into goal. When Dario Gelsomini in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alex Finman kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Dino Facchetti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Merceron United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Real Grasacticos booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Facchetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Merceron United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
