Oscar Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Reinhard Zegwaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaw Zdanowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Cieliczka in the 10th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinhard Zegwaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Advíncula in the 11th minute. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC WILXEN from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 17 in the game by Narciso Vergaray from a close distance when the talented Reinhard Zegwaard managed to make a qualified save. FC WILXEN's players were relieved. Gustaw Zdanowicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Barros. 34 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Cieliczka came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinhard Zegwaard made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Higinio Barros sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Narciso Vergaray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinhard Zegwaard. FC WILXEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Vergaray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Vergaray to strike the kick off in the second half. Pepe Santoro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 54 minutes into the match, Oscar Solustiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinhard Zegwaard. FC WILXEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Solustiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Lucjan Czeszyk took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Pepe Santoro to make any attempt to save it. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC WILXEN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Advíncula was slow to take the kick. During this time INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Solustiano in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC WILXEN's Gustaw Zdanowicz got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Advíncula in the 88th minute of play forced FC WILXEN's goalkeeper Reinhard Zegwaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Luis Advíncula managed to work through FC WILXEN's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luis Advíncula dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience was convinced that Narciso Vergaray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinhard Zegwaard was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, FC WILXEN's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Advíncula came free, but Reinhard Zegwaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Advíncula in the 94th minute of play. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
