The supporters of Zemantauskas FC booed when Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, David Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvard Jönsätt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Eriberto Gomes got a free kick in the 38th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Apelkvist in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Serginho Simões got a free kick in the 54th minute. Edvard Jönsätt made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Leal in the 65th minute. Stig Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sílvio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marco de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvard Jönsätt was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game.
