FC WILXEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Czeszyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florian Filanowski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Hermengildo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Zegwaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Zachemski lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Jobo in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes FC WILXEN got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Rasimowicz. João Massa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Lucjan Czeszyk sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC WILXEN's Lucjan Topolski got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Jobo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinhard Zegwaard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Vulpăşin in the 37th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Jobo to make the kick off. FC WILXEN's Reinhard Zegwaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Jobo in the 51st minute of play. Lucjan Topolski's late challenge caught a UFC STEAUA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Topolski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Lucjan Topolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Mugur Basarabescu in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC WILXEN's Iwo Cieliczka. Reinhard Zegwaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Seremet, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Mugur Basarabescu with Hermengildo Jobo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 72 minutes into the game, Nelson Mendoza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Reinhard Zegwaard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lucjan Czeszyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC WILXEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Czeszyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reinhard Zegwaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Mendoza in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, FC WILXEN's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Jobo came free, but Reinhard Zegwaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Czeszyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Seremet kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Iwo Cieliczka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in UFC STEAUA's zone, Lucjan Czeszyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Massa came out of the goal and Lucjan Czeszyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
