The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Zemantauskas FC's Miguel Negri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Negri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zemantauskas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Negri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luis Advíncula managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Advíncula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Higinio Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Zemantauskas FC defense, Juan Lizardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Penha. The Zemantauskas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Penha should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Barros got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marco de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Solustiano in the 21st minute of play. Benedicto Lesardo got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Oscar Solustiano. Zemantauskas FC's David Leal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejo Kimetz, made in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Leal in the 34th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB defense, David Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pepe Santoro. The INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pepe Santoro should have stopped the shot. David Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pepe Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when David Leal made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by David Leal from a close distance when the talented Pepe Santoro managed to make a qualified save. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's players were relieved. In the 57th play minute Hernani Sousa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pepe Santoro. 1-2. The throw-in from Alejo Kimetz in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zemantauskas FC's Hernani Branco. David Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pepe Santoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Valdir Ortiz hit a great ball. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when David Leal scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Santoro, making the score, 1-3. Jean Veloso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Marco de Sousa hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sílvio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Advíncula in the 79th minute of the match. When David Leal came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Zemantauskas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Leal couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Ortiz got free with Pepe Santoro in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Eduardo Ferreira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco de Sousa. Luis Advíncula scored 2-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Leal. When David Leal came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Zemantauskas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Leal couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zemantauskas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
