Marco de Sousa's late challenge caught a Ornitorrincos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duardo Pruniel took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Penha. Sílvio Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tobías Jarpa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 minutes Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido managed, with a little bit of luck, save Miguel Negri's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Miguel Negri did an outstanding performance 45 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Anísio Aparecido in the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duardo Pruniel made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco de Sousa in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enmanuel Carte hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, David Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zemantauskas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ornitorrincos F.C. the free kick. After 88 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by David Leal. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. David Leal hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Negri. The Zemantauskas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ornitorrincos F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
