Pavol Chmelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Monte in the 7th minute. Pavol Chmelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Frans in the 8th minute of the match. Pavol Chmelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Frans in the 13th minute of play. When Fabio Monte came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Northern California fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Monte couldn't finish the play. Pavol Chmelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Monte in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Pavol Chmelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Pavol Chmelo managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Northern California's Fabio Monte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gervasio Isias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Pavol Chmelo made a huge save. Fabio Montes short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Pavol Chmelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrej Varga's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrej Varga helped the player get up and apologised. Andrej Varga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pavol Chmelo made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fabio Monte sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Fabio Monte could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Pavol Chmelo however easily saved by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fabio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern California's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Monte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavol Chmelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Northern California's David Schembri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Tibor Partil got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Fabio Monte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavol Chmelo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Fabio Monte took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavol Chmelo. Pavol Chmelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pavol Chmelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Matej Petluš kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Northern California's Hector Martxel got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavol Chmelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Martxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavol Chmelo having to interfere. Pavol Chmelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Monte's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Pavol Chmelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Monte in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the game Arnaldo Hustaz made a throw-in which Gervasio Isias played forward. In the 89th match minute, FC DNV Bratiskava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Havran to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Monte in the 91st minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Pavol Chmelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavol Chmelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Frans, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Northern California's Gervasio Isias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavol Chmelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Northern California players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
