Anísio Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Pernambucano in the 6th minute. Anísio Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Wágner Sá sent off a good shot on target. After 12 minutes of play, October 04's Luís Paulo Pernambucano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anísio Aparecido was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Pernambucano got free with Anísio Aparecido in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Sá in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Horácio Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fellipe Valle's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 34 minutes Ornitorrincos F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Paulo Pernambucano who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie and right to Fellipe Valle. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Fellipe Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anísio Aparecido was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Fellipe Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Anísio Aparecido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anísio Aparecido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Sá went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Reces Bacheler came free, but Narciso Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reces Bacheler in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Duardo Pruniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Guimarães. October 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duardo Pruniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Duardo Pruniel made the kick off in the second half. October 04's Narciso Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Pruniel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match October 04 got a corner. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Paulo Pernambucano ran over to the corner to take the kick. October 04 were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ornitorrincos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Paulo Pernambucano took the corner. October 04's Luís Paulo Pernambucano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anísio Aparecido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Wágner Sá, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 60 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Anísio Aparecido was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by October 04's Fellipe Valle. But to his dismay, Fellipe Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Sá in the 68th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper Anísio Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anísio Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Valle in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Sá came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Pruniel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Valle in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anísio Aparecido saved Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting behind. Anísio Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Valle in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Duardo Pruniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornitorrincos F.C. and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Duardo Pruniel got a free kick in the 94th minute. Mário Pena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anísio Aparecido. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anísio Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
