After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Lisandro Hodei was substituted for Marco Bixintxo. In the 56th minute, Bonifacio Fraco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when AFC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hondo Beneit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, AFC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Belandia to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 65 minutes, Bonifacio Fraco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Fraco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bonifacio Fraco came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Monte Hermoso Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Fraco couldn't finish the play. Matthew Vall struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Bastian in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cisco Rubial prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
