Matthew Vall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gervasio Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teo Fero came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Yupandú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Fero couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Bautista came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Gilen Martioda. But to his dismay, Gilen Martioda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Jose Refugio made a precise shot to the right of Cisco Rubial. AFC United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Maidana to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Izel. Gervasio Bautista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Vall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilen Martioda in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Marciano Maidana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Ortiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Bautista. Yupandú FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Refugio came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Bautista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthew Vall went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. AFC United's Matthew Vall got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Yupandú FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFC United were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Roland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jose Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cisco Rubial having to interfere. If Feliciano Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Teo Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Teo Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match AFC United got a corner. Yupandú FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edwin Ortiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 74 in the game by Matthew Vall from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Bautista managed to make a qualified save. Yupandú FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nardo Torrecilla got free with Gervasio Bautista in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bautista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthew Vall. 79 minutes into the game, Gilen Martioda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Bautista. Gilen Martioda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Gervasio Bautista was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Matthew Vall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthew Vall really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Archibaldo Ahumada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vinicio Bertran hit a great ball. Gervasio Bautista was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Matthew Vall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthew Vall really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. AFC United played a much better game than Yupandú FC and deserved their victory. The Yupandú FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
