Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Izel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro de Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When Vladimiro Roland came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Yupandú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Roland couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Bautista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Meira to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Yupandú FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nova Erechim - FSCMZ throughout the match.
