Geovânio Mineiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matías Recife showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Matías Recife elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. José Pedro Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Peixoto in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Gaspar. In the 22nd minute, Horácio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 27th minute, Silvinho Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Pedro Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Geovânio Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Loyola in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Loyola got free with Geovânio Mineiro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Matías Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Matías Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. 39 minutes into the game, Flavinho Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SANTOS FC- FDFDF the free kick. In the 40th minute, Flavinho Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Mineiro having to interfere. Horácio Costa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE. 68 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Luz came free, but Geovânio Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SANTOS FC- FDFDF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Evandro Peixoto hit a great ball. José Pedro Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Peixoto in the 82nd minute. In the 98th match minute, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Loyola to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the SANTOS FC- FDFDF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
