Robustiano Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo got control of the ball when Arnaldo Gabon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Timoteo Basualdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Sidro came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Elpidio Francis could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Robustiano Cordareo however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Cordareo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Cordareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Lehior in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Cordareo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Robustiano Cordareo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Prosperi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 43 minutes, Esteban Iztal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA and the Forros Fantásticos AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The throw-in from Romeo Nabar in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Rafael Dalmu. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Francis to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Forros Fantásticos AC got a freekick which was hit by Marius Sagen. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordareo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Branislav Velchevski was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Santiago Sidro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Sidro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Francis in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Cordareo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Forros Fantásticos AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Nabar to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Robustiano Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elpidio Francis struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Robustiano Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was substituted for Elpidio Francis. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Dalmu. In the 75th minute, André Monclús made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Cordareo. Forros Fantásticos AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Cordareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Monclús sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forros Fantásticos AC made a substitution. Godofredo Quintana replaced Marius Sagen. Alejo Lehior struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Branislav Velchevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forros Fantásticos AC. Branislav Velchevski had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Octavio Marcones from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Many of Forros Fantásticos AC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Forros Fantásticos AC may have spent more time on the ball, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
