Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. If Lázaro Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Beltxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Jordão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mónos in the 14th minute. Gilberto Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aldo Beltxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Beltxe came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely. But to his dismay, Gilberto Nayely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Amado Jordão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mónos in the 26th minute. Punk Fiction's Evelio Federigo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Beltxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th minute, Gilberto Nayely left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punk Fiction fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Mónos. Igor Jokin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Jordão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Nayely to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punk Fiction's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázaro Cefero was slow to take the kick. During this time Marno F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Lázaro Cefero made a great header on Marno F.C.'s corner, it was just that Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão managed to reach the ball for a save. A sloppy throw-in by Cristobal Dominix in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz. Gilberto Nayely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Beltxe having to make a save. Aldo Beltxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 59th minute. A collision led to Punk Fiction getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Celedonio Lucado hit a great ball. Lázaro Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Jordão having to make a save. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Lázaro Cefero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Jordão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Valiente in the 78th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Silvio Feliz in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Marno F.C.'s Martin Bieito. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 91st minute of play. Marno F.C.'s Cristobal Dominix managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfonso Eguen in the 95 minute of the game. Cristobal Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Marno F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
