The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Plaza Jewell's Eustaquio Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramazan Yalkı in the 10th minute of play. Eulalio Cordarrel hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Halim Tümay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machu Picchu's supporters rose to their feet, but Halim Tümay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Pancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Machu Picchu booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Yalkı came free, but Eustaquio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Enetz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Pedro Enetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Enetz in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behlül Tacik in the 29th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Eustaquio Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Plaza Jewell's Leopoldo Giro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Toldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aydın Ustaoğlu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Cucao took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Rivaldo Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Plaza Jewell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Enetz in the 53rd minute. The corner led to Plaza Jewell's Aldo Quentin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Eustaquio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramazan Yalkı in the 57th minute of play. When Mehmet Anıl Rical fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machu Picchu's protests and gave Mehmet Anıl Rical a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Machu Picchu getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mehmet Anıl Rical hit a great ball. Pedro Enetz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rivaldo Ferreira in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Plaza Jewell's Braulio Sabino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francesco Toldo. That made the score 0-3 after 68 minutes of play. A collision led to Machu Picchu getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ali Galip Kurhan hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Cucao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Francesco Toldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Enetz took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Ramazan Yalkı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plaza Jewell's Eustaquio Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behlül Tacik in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Behlül Tacik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Ramazan Yalkı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machu Picchu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The Machu Picchu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Plaza Jewell's performance. The match ended with a win for Plaza Jewell.
