In the 2nd minute, Pastor Ado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 3 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Jerardo. In the 4th minute of the match, Mario Jakobe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmond Verdun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 7th minute. Mario Jakobe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. Dumitru Doloman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Tate in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Doloman saved Viola Invest from getting behind. After 19 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Jerardo. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Tate in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner. Emílio Terra went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuuno Tälli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra to fire away a dangerous shot which Dumitru Doloman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Miguel Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Pastor Ado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Errecaborda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Viola Invest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Terra took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Viola Invest fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Dumitru Doloman went to the wrong direction when Emílio Terra was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Dumitru Doloman managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Gabrielsson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Tate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dumitru Doloman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Ado in the 73rd minute. Pastor Ado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dumitru Doloman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Tate got free with Dumitru Doloman in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Viola Invest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Emander to maneuver through the defense. In the 88thth minute of the game Joe Tate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Tate. Chants of Errecaborda AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Viola Invest had held the ball for most of the match.
