Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dave De Bartolo started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Montini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes GG Team FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dieter Nisipeanu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Dieter Nisipeanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fortunato Montini quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute of the match, Hassan Marcou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tristan Falco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hassan Marcou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Tristan Falco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21st minute Dave De Bartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dave De Bartolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Falco was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fortunato Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Montini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sami Zübeyr in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Montini saved GG Team FC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Montini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dave De Bartolo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Falco came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave De Bartolo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. Tristan Falco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Marcou in the 43rd minute of the match. Dave De Bartolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Zübeyr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dave De Bartolo came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Marcou in the 55th minute of play. Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassan Marcou, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Felix Lucaci replaced Martin Costeiantu. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Emanuel Lasker replaced Răzvan Stanomir. GG Team FC made a substitution. Miguel Borja replaced Dave De Bartolo. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Borja in the 70th minute of play. Dino Baggio made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alvise Cerrone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 74th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Borja, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 81 minutes in the game Meng Shi Peng did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alvise Cerrone. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini got control of the ball when Sami Zübeyr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sami Zübeyr might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Montini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Zübeyr ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Anatoly Karpov replaced Igor Czapski. FC Maci -MM- were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over GG Team FC's much stronger midfield.
