In the 24th minute Kuuno Tälli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Panait Voina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Doloman was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gavril Anghelescu scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mădălin Lunca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Lunca. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Lunca should have stopped the shot. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Anghelescu in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Jakobe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Kuuno Tälli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mădălin Lunca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mădălin Lunca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Viola Invest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giga Popescu in the 62nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Stig-Åke Gabrielsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Stig-Åke Gabrielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Cornel Manciulea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Doru Alexandroae hit a great ball. Mădălin Lunca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giga Popescu. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Anghelescu in the 79th minute of play. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Gavril Anghelescu sped through Raureni Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
