David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Kimmich in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Müller in the 6th minute of play. If Valter Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. After 14 minutes of play, Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Valter Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Alemannia Aachen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Xabat couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Valter Xabat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valter Xabat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Xabat came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. Zvonimir Prestin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Carnduff having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Müller came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Xabat's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Valter Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Rotariu came out of the goal and Valter Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leroy Kluttig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jess Carnduff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Patrick Middendorf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Middendorf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Xabat in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Xabat was the one to do the kick off. When Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PoWer SC 2K5's goalie prevented a goal. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 55th minute of play. David Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alemannia Aachen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manfred Kottsieper in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Manfred Kottsieper got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Rotariu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. David Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Valter Xabat sent off a good shot on target. If Patrick Middendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper to fire away a dangerous shot which David Rotariu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Xabat came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valter Xabat. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Müller in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by PoWer SC 2K5's Zvonimir Prestin. But to his dismay, Zvonimir Prestin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The PoWer SC 2K5 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alemannia Aachen's performance. The match ended with a win for Alemannia Aachen.
