George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Marcou in the 20th minute of play. The corner led LOI's Mehmet Akif Cerme to fire away a dangerous shot which Fortunato Montini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, one of GG Team FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GG Team FC. Fortunato Montini went to the wrong direction when Eriberto Segio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. GG Team FC made a substitution. Miguel Borja replaced Dave De Bartolo. After having played for 66 minutes, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Borja in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Borja came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The GG Team FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fortunato Montini should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the GG Team FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LOI.
