Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valter Xabat fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alemannia Aachen's protests and gave Valter Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valter Xabat in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Doloman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Leers in the 26th minute of play. Tobias Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Valter Xabat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dumitru Doloman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manfred Kottsieper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Valter Xabat got free with Dumitru Doloman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Manfred Kottsieper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Xabat in the 64th minute of the match. In the 78th play minute Valter Xabat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dumitru Doloman. 0-4. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 81st minute of play. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
