The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Augusto Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Victor Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisson Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Liviu Frumușanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alisson Becker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Oprescu in the 26th minute of the match. Dinu Oardă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Benitez in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Lucila came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Victor Lucila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisson Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 40th minute, Orhan Ortanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orhan Ortanca in the 51 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franky Ooms in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Oardă saved MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting behind. Ernest Oprescu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Orhan Ortanca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinu Oardă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Alisson Becker threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edwin 雷岩, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Timişoara's zone, Victor Lucila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Becker came out of the goal and Victor Lucila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Frumușanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alisson Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 82nd minute of the match. Liviu Frumușanus short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Alisson Becker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Liviu Frumușanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Alisson Becker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Liviu Frumușanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alisson Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Banciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Buffalo Timişoara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's performance. The match ended with a win for MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV.
