Thorben Grill took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl Martin Bell Burnell. Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. October 04's Fellipe Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorben Grill, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Alonzo Ilixo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when Thorben Grill came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Vester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Fellipe Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Xu Yang Jian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but October 04's Eskil Vester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Xu Yang Jian put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Vester. In the 26th minute October 04 were awarded a corner. Thorben Grill went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, October 04's Stavros Bantis got a free kick in the 29th minute. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Leal in the 34th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Eskil Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alvinegro de Tupã getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Arí Mello hit a great ball. Eskil Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. October 04's Fellipe Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Ernesto dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yang Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fellipe Valle came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Martin Bell Burnell could save by the left post. When Fellipe Valle came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Valle couldn't finish the play. October 04's Waldemar de Sena was substituted for Claudinei Custódio. Ernesto dos Santos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of October 04 booed when Alvinegro de Tupã was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes in the game Arí Mello did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aníbal Leal. October 04's Eskil Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Yang Jian in the 76th minute of play. October 04's Váldson de Amaral pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 83rd match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Alvinegro de Tupã getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hílton Pernambucano hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, October 04's Thorben Grill tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Emilio Cascajares managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Cascajares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Martin Bell Burnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the October 04 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alvinegro de Tupã.
