In the 13th minute INTER de Córdoba were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Bazkoare went to the cornerflag to take it. Romulo Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Åkerman in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Damián Åkerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER de Córdoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Damián Åkerman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Romulo Gelacio. Romulo Gelacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petros Mousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damián Åkerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damián Åkerman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, INTER de Córdoba's Santiago Torres got control of the ball when Petros Mousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romulo Gelacio came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER de Córdoba's Cheng Qian Qiang. But to his dismay, Cheng Qian Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Narciso Vergaray replaced Benedicto Lesardo. INTER de Córdoba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Tauro in the 84th minute. Laureano DAndrea was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Santiago Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Fresco in the 89th minute of play. If Narciso Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Gelacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Guzman went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. INTER de Córdoba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
