In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Angelino Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fu Feng Chong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atlético Rio Cuarto's Humberto Francesco was substituted for Fernando Bras. The wind increased when Angelino Inautzi made the kick off in the second half. Hu Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes AC米兰 got a freekick which was hit by Hu Yong. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 何威庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Fu Feng Chong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. In the 89th minute, Angelino Inautzi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fu Feng Chong, passed just outside the right post.
