Toninho Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damián Åkerman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Bertassi came out and tried to block the shot, but Damián Åkerman slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 23rd minute. Toninho Bertassi was a little too slow when Damián Åkerman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 5-0. Pindorama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Damián Åkerman scored to the left of an out of position Toninho Bertassi, making the score, 6-0. After 32 minutes, Damián Åkerman made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pindorama's Toninho Bertassi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damián Åkerman got free with Toninho Bertassi in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. INTER de Córdoba's Genaro Tauro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 39 in the game by Damián Åkerman from a close distance when the talented Toninho Bertassi managed to make a qualified save. Pindorama's players were relieved. Pindorama's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damián Åkerman 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 8-0. After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Damián Åkerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Bertassi. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Bertassi should have stopped the shot.

In the 52nd minute Damián Åkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindorama's goalkeeper Toninho Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damián Åkerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damián Åkerman ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Åkerman came free, but Toninho Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damián Åkerman in the 70th minute of the match. INTER de Córdoba's Dante Isauro was substituted for Vladimiro Lage. INTER de Córdoba's Wictor Tinglöv was substituted for Eustaquio Bazkoare. In the 73rd minute of the match INTER de Córdoba got a corner. Pindorama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Tauro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Nicholas Bokvist advanced and headed the ball into goal, 10-0 in the 73rd minute. Pindorama's Toninho Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Isauro in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Cheng Qian Qiang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toninho Bertassi. Pindorama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheng Qian Qiang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 82 minutes into the game, INTER de Córdoba's Dante Isauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toninho Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Dante Isauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Isauro ran back to his position shaking his head. Toninho Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gugu Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Toninho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheng Qian Qiang in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Cheng Qian Qiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Bertassi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by INTER de Córdoba's Cheng Qian Qiang. But to his dismay, Cheng Qian Qiang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Toninho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Isauro in the 96th minute of the match. INTER de Córdoba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
