Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Fliz to make the kick off. Petter Skarkman came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Bazkoare could save by the left post. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Regresado's goalkeeper Emilio Bazkoare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Protegéerna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Näver in the 58th minute. Emilio Bazkoare was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Petter Skarkman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Regresado's Emilio Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Korneliusz Basinski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Foretic, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Protegéerna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
