When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Benito Oier sped through Santa Margarita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pontus Nordström. F.C Un dia de partit's Geir Rafoss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 24th minute of play. Benito Oier might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Oier ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, F.C Un dia de partit's Espiridion Serena got a free kick in the 34th minute. Enzo Peruxu made in the 47th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Witomir Pisarczyk immediately put the ball in play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when F.C Un dia de partit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esquipula Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Enzo Peruxu. Santa Margarita's Elmo Jaanovits was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. After 80 played minutes F.C Un dia de partit got a freekick which was hit by Esquipula Sancho. Elmo Jaanovits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Geir Rafoss made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Igor Furtado. 92 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goalkeeper Geir Rafoss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmo Jaanovits. The corner led Santa Margarita's Eduardo De Francesco to fire away a dangerous shot which Geir Rafoss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
