In the 4th minute, Adolfo Brandão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingemar Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulius Rožėnas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jamie Carragher made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Protegéerna's Paolo-César Maldini. Protegéerna's Cosme Demesio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jamie Carragher, made in the 14th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petter Skarkman during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Petter Skarkman hit a great ball. Max Limont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Python in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Skarkman got free with Max Limont in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Limont stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petter Skarkman's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mar Cheze in the 30th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Ingemar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hexo Utd's Max Limont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hexo Utd from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mar Cheze hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Hexo Utd's Gražvydas Drąsutis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gražvydas Drąsutis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hexo Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gražvydas Drąsutis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hexo Utd! Hexo Utd:s Max Limont showed great skill when he stopped Petter Skarkman:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Michael Näver got a free kick in the 46th minute. Adolfo Brandão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Max Limont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petter Skarkman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Limont having to make a save. Hexo Utd's Max Limont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 67th minute of play. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Protegéerna from getting a goal against them. Protegéerna made a substitution. Bo Låsberg replaced Fernando Arango. Ingemar Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulius Rožėnas in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Mar Cheze came free, but Ingemar Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Hexo Utd's Mar Cheze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ingemar Åberg. Ingemar Åberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Max Limont. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. Max Limont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 87th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Max Limont reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Limont. Max Limont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
