The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Bronder got free with Kryspin Dembkowski in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwo Domarecki came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos. But to his dismay, Andrew Carrillos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Kryspin Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Hähner in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liam Hähner in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Dembkowski saved Victoria Mlawa from getting behind. In the 21st minute Spartan FC Mogilany were awarded a corner. Ilie Dumitrescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Wojciech Skaradowski charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wojciech Skaradowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Wojciech Skaradowski got a free kick in the 21st minute. Liam Hähner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Kryspin Dembkowski made a huge save. Andrew Carrillos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Domarecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Spartan FC Mogilany had held the ball for most of the match.
