If Denis Alibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bresikas's Erasmo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Sima in the 28th minute of play. Erasmo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Alibert in the 30th minute of the match. Petrică Paraschiv charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petrică Paraschiv the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, DINAMO PLOIESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Paraschiv to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elias Dubardo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Denis Alibert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Ado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. DINAMO PLOIESTI were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Bresikas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Alibert took the corner. The corner ended in Denis Alibert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Erasmo Ado did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Costin Sima managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO PLOIESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Sima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Ado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. DINAMO PLOIESTI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
