After having played for 4 minutes, Lucas Paquette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamonds FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Paquette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Mario Chaime got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lucas Paquette hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With his leg Kåre Magnusson managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Diamonds FC's Lucas Paquette fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Bresikas booed when Diamonds FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Mario Chaime left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bresikas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Diamonds FC's Marcos Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Jerrald in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bresikas's zone, Lucas Paquette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Magnusson came out of the goal and Lucas Paquette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Erasmo Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Paquette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Magnusson having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Paquette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mario Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Santana hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Hakkı Devrim Şenaltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Kåre Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Diamonds FC a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ernesto Santos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bresikas's Kåre Magnusson. 1-1. In the 63rd minute of the game Celso Rezende made a throw-in which Fellipe Santana played forward. The Diamonds FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Diamonds FC's Lucas Paquette looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kåre Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Devrim Şenaltan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 74 minutes, Hakkı Devrim Şenaltan made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bresikas's Kåre Magnusson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. German Natal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Paquette came free, but Kåre Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåre Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Paquette in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Paquette in the 89th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Kåre Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play Diamonds FC's Sidnei Salles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 92 played minutes Diamonds FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Salles. When the referee ended the match the Diamonds FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
