Kåre Magnusson came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers. But to his dismay, Robbrecht Jonckers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Bresikas booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marnix Maseur didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets got control of the ball when Luciano Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Savion. Erasmo Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Robbrecht Jonckers put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kåre Magnusson. 38 minutes into the match, Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kåre Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Robbrecht Jonckers came free, but Kåre Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Kickers United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Jerrald to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbrecht Jonckers in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Dewinter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbrecht Jonckers might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kåre Magnusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbrecht Jonckers ran back to his position shaking his head. Pieter Fraes's late challenge caught a Bresikas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pieter Fraes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Pieter Fraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthonio Van Bets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Savion in the 59th minute of play. Robbrecht Jonckers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Kåre Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Bresikas's Gonzalo Jerrald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthonio Van Bets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Marnix Maseur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kåre Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Magnusson. Kåre Magnusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Mathias Fierens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Magnusson having to interfere. Luciano Savion charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Savion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Savion kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Robbrecht Jonckers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Kåre Magnusson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kåre Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Robbrecht Jonckers sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Kickers United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bresikas throughout the match.
