When Pieter Fraes fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kickers United's protests and gave Pieter Fraes a yellow card for diving instead. Anthonio Van Bets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ameer Ashkanani in the 27th minute of the match. Mansour Al Ramzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kickers United's Anthonio Van Bets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakem Khorshed in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohammad Al Ateqi. Mohammad Al Ateqi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Saher Al Holey hit a great ball. Mohammad Al Ateqi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbrecht Jonckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mohammad Al Ateqi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbrecht Jonckers went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Pieter Fraes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Marcus Gelens hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tim-Jan Dekkers's late challenge caught a Golden Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim-Jan Dekkers helped the player get up and apologised. Tim-Jan Dekkers kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Talal Al Sallal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthonio Van Bets was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. If Alexander Dewinter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Golden Tigers's Hakem Khorshed ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anthonio Van Bets. Dhari Al Mansor kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Dewinter came free, but Mohammad Al Ateqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martial Van Mellaert's late challenge caught a Golden Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Talal Al Sallal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthonio Van Bets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naem Al Khaled in the 92nd minute of the match. Naem Al Khaled hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Golden Tigers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
