A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Saher Al Holey hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Talal Al Sallal in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Magnusson saved Bresikas from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Bresikas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Golden Tigers:s goal. Kåre Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talal Al Sallal, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Golden Tigers's Talal Al Sallal in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mansour Al Ramzi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Naem Al Khaled mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Tigers and the Bresikas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Golden Tigers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
