Dalton Block sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Mewburn in the 8th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Paulino Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Garikoitz in the 9th minute of play forced AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goalkeeper Bud Sinden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Mewburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulino Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalton Block went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bud Sinden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Logan Kayrooz. Silvestre Lertxun's late challenge caught a AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Margarita getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Silvestre Lertxun hit a great ball. Paulino Lizardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carson Coleman in the 26th minute of play. If Karl Mewburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Dalton Block managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalton Block was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Mewburn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Bud Sinden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB from getting a goal against them. After the first half AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Karl Mewburn made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Dalton Block managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalton Block was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Karl Mewburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ignado in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bud Sinden saved AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB from getting behind. After 61 minutes, Dalton Block mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB and the Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Margarita booed when AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Block didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bud Sinden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Iratze went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Americo Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Margarita getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Americo Iratze hit a great ball. Karl Mewburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Lizardi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Ugutz during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Arnaldo Ugutz got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dalton Block received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paulino Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Marco Ignado made a precise shot to the right of Bud Sinden. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Margarita's Paulino Lizardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Margarita from getting a goal against them. Marco Ignado took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bud Sinden. Bud Sinden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Margarita fans cheered their team off the field, for while AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
