Justo Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Freire having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, EC Fragata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Freire to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Tellier got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Mincho. Sydney Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Baltasar Gauargi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dalmo Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tellier. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Barreto in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Ferrer saved Tellier from getting behind. Dalmo Freire made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Justo Loiola sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Tellier's Jimeno Romo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. EC Fragata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baltasar Gauargi 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Jimeno Romo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dalmo Freire came out and tried to block the shot, but Jimeno Romo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Loiola got free with Dalmo Freire in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 51 played minutes EC Fragata got a freekick which was hit by Luís Lara. After some careless play in the EC Fragata defense, Justo Loiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Freire. The EC Fragata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Freire should have stopped the shot. Justo Loiola took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Freire. Dalmo Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 61 minutes into the match, Justo Loiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Freire. EC Fragata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Loiola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 65 minutes of play, Tellier's Jimeno Romo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimeno Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Loiola in the 72nd minute of play. Dalmo Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltasar Gauargi went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Tellier's Rosendo Bermudez got a free kick in the 85th minute. Deivid Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Ferrer having to interfere. Primitivo Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Froilan Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the EC Fragata players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tellier.
