Paulino Lizardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Jerrald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Rios came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Margarita's Omar Montes. But to his dismay, Omar Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Gonzalo Jerrald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Joaquin Cordarrel got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Jerrald in the 34th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Paulino Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bresikas's Hipolito Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Iratzeder in the 39th minute of play. Hipolito Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Romo in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Iratzeder came free, but Hipolito Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Jerrald to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Omar Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Hipolito Rios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Omar Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Rios was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ruperto Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Omar Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Rios having to interfere. Paulino Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jerrald in the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Margarita's Omar Montes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hipolito Rios. That made the score 0-3 after 75 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Omar Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipolito Rios was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 80 minutes, Omar Montes made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Bresikas's Hipolito Rios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Cordarrel. Gonzalo Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulino Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Rios had great luck who in the 93rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Omar Montes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Montes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Rios saved Bresikas from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Silvestre Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Margarita's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
