Severo Fanuco might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Quinnell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Fanuco ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Romero scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Quinnell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Quinnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Romero in the 25th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Romulo Primeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Alexander Quinnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Turner, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Anselmo Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alexander Quinnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Estrellas de Caballito getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ciriaco Eneko hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Aire Jordan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralph Turner to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Gipuzkoa during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carson Coleman charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carson Coleman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the match, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Romero came free, but Alexander Quinnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Quinnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Primeiro in the 87th minute of play. Alexander Quinnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Gipuzkoa in the 91st minute of the match. Controller Shott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estrellas de Caballito fans cheered their team off the field, for while AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
