In the 21st match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. Margarita's Paulino Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Gipuzkoa in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Romulo Primeiro from a close distance when the talented Paulino Lizardi managed to make a qualified save. Margarita's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Cordarrel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Joaquin Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulino Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The wind increased when Paulino Gipuzkoa made the kick off in the second half. Paulino Lizardi came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Estrellas de Caballito's Higinio Luzea. But to his dismay, Higinio Luzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Estrellas de Caballito's Jaime Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Cordarrel in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Anselmo Pitin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jaime Venceslao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Cordarrel went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Primeiro in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Lizardi saved Margarita from getting behind. Omar Montes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jaime Venceslao made a huge save. With a little luck, Estrellas de Caballito's Jaime Venceslao got control of the ball when Omar Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jaime Venceslao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Omar Montes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jaime Venceslao. Omar Montes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 93 minutes of play Margarita's Joaquin Cordarrel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Estrellas de Caballito booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
